Collaboration, the essence of transformation

At Inditex we are committed to having a positive impact and creating value for our stakeholders and for society as a whole. Collaboration with them is crucial. It is essential to advancing along our Sustainability Roadmap, and it is key to our ability to push hard for the transformation of our sector.

Circularity, protection of the planet and its scarce resources and human and labour rights advocacy are a few of the objectives shared by those pursuing the transformation needed so that in the future sustainability gets fully embedded into every aspect of society.

In order to identify and respond to the matters of greatest importance to our stakeholders and pinpoint those that may be more critical to delivery of our strategic and business targets, every year we conduct a materiality assessment. By performing that analysis, we identify and prioritise the matters of greatest importance to our internal stakeholders - our people - and our external stakeholders - international organisations, unions, NGOs, universities, the media, local communities and suppliers, among others. For the first time this year we introduced the concept of double materiality to our analysis and indicated timing importance considerations for each matter.
