At Inditex we believe it is our duty to contribute to the development of society by voluntarily participating in community initiatives related to our business activities. We earmarked €46.2 million to this effort in 2018.
In 2018, we collaborated closely with over 400 third sector entities to develop more than 620 initiatives on the ground that directly benefitted over 2.4 million people, 53% more than in 2017. The Dow Jones Sustainability Index singled us out as the leading retailer in corporate citizenship and philanthropy for the fourth year running.
