Inditex’s commitment to sustainable development and the protection of the environment and natural resources has always been present in the company’s fundamental values. Within the framework of the Strategic Plan “Sustainable Inditex” 2011-2015, a qualitative leap has been taken to further integrate sustainability into the Group’s supply chain. One of the great milestones in 2013 was the publication of Inditex’s Global Energy Strategy and Biodiversity Strategy, which along with the Global Water Management Strategy form the three pillars of the company’s Strategic Plan.
